This ensures that no one is illegally tanning and using a ‘friend’s ID to fraudulently use a sunbed, which is great for ensuring that tanning salons are meeting the legal requirements set by trading standards. For hair and beauty salons, this security feature works in the same way that someone wouldn’t be able to pretend to be an already registered client, which then eliminates risking the fact that they wouldn’t have had their patch test before a treatment, improving overall salon security and client protection.
